According to oral history four Williams male siblings and one female sibling was born to different mothers. The children were Jerry, Benjamin, Daniel, Strother (Stradder)and Amanda(Mandy). Strother (Stradder) Williams was born about l856 and his mother was believed to be Lucy A Harrison born about l840 in Virginia and married to Bossier Harrison also of Virginia. Strother married Lillie Bird who was born about 1858 on May 28, 1873 and had 9 children before Lillie died on December 22, 1897. Strother Williams children and their offspring are listed below;

I. Nelson Williams born 1877 married Idella Isles born July 8, 1884. Idella died on December 22, 1897 and Nelson died October 12, 1942. Idella was the daughter of Elias Isles and Queen Ester Brown. Nelso and Idella had seven children;

Nelson born 1907 married Ada, their children were: 1.Geraldine, 2.William, 3.Edward 4.Gilda, 5.Arlene, 6.Carolyn, 7. Amy

II Bessie Mae born September 4, 1918 married William D. Sewell. She died November 7, 1984 and had no children.

III Clarence Williams born 1913 married Gladys Hovel, had three children;1. Clarence Jr who married Myrtis. 2. James who married Octavia, 3. Marvin who married Maude

IV Taft married Ida Mae Castle and had five children;1. Taft Jr, 2. Kenneth, 3. Frank, 4. Freddie, 5. Ike

V Nathaniel Williams born December 6, 1872 married Mary Pinkett born July 8,1884. They had ten children;

1.Blossie born December 6, 1902 married James Williams who was born august 5, 1897and died May 2, 1950. Blossie died April 2, 1969. Their children were 1. Lillie Williams Morris was born January 26, 1905 and died March 30, 1970.

2. Ben Williams was born 1906 status unknown, 3. Nathina Williams was born 1908 status unknown, 4. Essie Williams was born 1910 status unknown, 5. Polly Williams was born 1912 status unknown, 6. Nathaniel Williams Jr. was born February 27, 1913 and died May 9, 1972, 7. Julius Williams was born 1916 status unknown, 8. Virgie Williams was born February 12, 1917, 9. Henry Williams was born November 12, 1919. 10. Amanda(Mandy)Williams born December 1877, daughter of Strother Williams and Lilly Bird and granddaughter of Nathaniel and Ellen Bird married Morgan Isles (Mulatto) born on October 25, 1872. Mandy and Morgan were married on November 12, 1900. Morgan was the son of Elias Isles and Queen Ann Brown and died on January 13, 1947. Amanda and Morgan had eight children.

A. Nathaniel Isles born 1902 married Cora Thomas and they had 5 children: 1. Johnny Iles,2. Willie Mae Iles Vorise,3. Idella Iles who married Lumus Brown, 4. Debra Isles who married Charles Steward, 5. Alberta Isles who married Tess Allen Sr.

B. Nelson Iles born 1904 married Annie Jones, they had one child:

1. Julius Ward Iles who married Clara Robinson

C. Lillie Iles born 1905 married Alec Norris( no offspring

D. Beatrice Iles born 1908 married Thomas Taylor, they had two children;

1. Elizabeth Taylor married Leroy Leroy Williams

E. Howard Iles born 1908( died early)

F. Paralee Iles married Jack Hunter

G. Sylvester Iles married Ozzie Lawson and they had two children;

1. John Louis Iles married Florine Pierce

2. Freddie Bernard Iles married Pearline Joann Givens

H. William Iles married Letha Hall and they had six children;

1.Florence Neil Iles who married Henry Wells, and Robert Warren

2. Morgan Buck Iles

3. Amanda (Mandy) Iles

4. J.W.Iles married Gladys(unknown surname)

5. William Iles

6. Jimmy Iles

4. Alice Williams was born 1879 status unknown.

5. Abner Williams was born 1891 status unknown.

6. Florence Williams born in December 1891 married Freddie Mackie August 16, 1920.

7. Jessie Williams born September 1893 married Queen a. Iles daughter of Robert Iles and Ella Hamilton. Jessie and Queen A had one child

A. Jessie Bob Williams who married Mildred Jones

8. Strother Williams Jr. born October 1895 married Pricilla Williams on September 30, 1917.

Pricilla was the daughter of Richard and Cheney Williams.

9. Louis Williams born February 1898 and died in 1968 and was buried at St. Mathew Church Cemetery at Rapides Station near Boyce Louisiana. Louis was the son of Strother Williams who was born about 1854 and Lillie Bird who was born about 1858. Louis was married to Emma Ambush who was born about 1901 and died 1975. Louis and Emma were married on July 22, 1919. Emma was the daughter of Howard Ambush born March 10, 1871 and Melinda Robinson born in July about 1880. Emma was the granddaughter of James Ambush who was born about 1810 in Maryland and Minerva Mc Daniels’ born on March 27, 1868 and died before 1877. Minerva was also married to Henry Brown on September 10, 1877. Louis and Emma’s children were:

D. Christell Williams who married Mabel Bennett daughter of Doris ”Momma Two” who was born September 20, 1913 and died November 16, 2003.
